Summer Program “International Legal Practice (II edition)”

 

Expressions of interest are invited to participate to the II edition of the Summer Program “International Legal Practice (II edition)”, to be held in Oxford (UK) on September 3-8, 2012.

The program – organised by ECCLE (the European Center for Continuing Legal Education) – is designed for graduates in law, lawyers and judges. It will be a great opportunity of education and professional networking, and it will be based in the spectacular venue of Worcester College, University of Oxford.

The program is accredited for the continuing education of lawyers across Europe.

It includes:

1) Morning : “Warm-up” language training (led by Ms. Ricci) and “Comparative Civil Litigation” (taught by David Sonenshein, Professor of Law at Temple Law School, Philadelphia);

2) Afternoon: “Group sessions” on various subjects (“International Contracts”, “Human Rights”, “The Euro crisis” e  “Legal & Business English”)

3) A rich social program (dinners in College, guided tour of Oxford, “movie night”, the traditional “pub crawling”, and more… )

September is just round the corner, and we welcome your expressions of interest via email (info@eccle.eu). Expressions of interest are not a commitment to participate but we shall send information on enrolment ONLY TO THOSE who respond to this email. So, do not hesitate to get back to us if interested.

Tuition fee is 1150€. Please check if you are eligible for a discount under the terms of ECCLE fee policy (see full program below).

Lodging and food at Worcester College will cost you 760€ in double room room and 850€ in a single room (this includes a package of 6 nights, daily breakfast and lunch, champagne reception, 3 special dinners, and a guided tour of the city of Oxford).

Participation will truly enrich your professional education and portfolio and valuable contacts will be established not only among European lawyers, but also with professionals from the the BRIC Countries (Brazil, India, Cina and Russia). Last year, participants were from Italy, Spain, India, Brazil, Hungary, Ukraine, Greece and Turkey.
