Diego Agus

Diego Agus is legal advisor to the President of the Italian Communications Authority. He is a Lecturer in Administrative Law at the University of Rome “Luiss Guido Carli”. He was Admitted to the Italian Bar in 2007 session.

After graduating in Law cum laude in 2003, he obtained, in 2007, a Ph.D in Administrative Law at the University of Rome “La Sapienza”, Faculty of Law, where he wrote his doctoral dissertation on multilevel competition rules enforcement.

He has also taught courses as an adjunct professor at University o Rome “L. Quaroni”, Faculty of Architecture. He has also lectured at University of Rome “La Sapienza” – Faculty of Law, Tuscia – Faculty of Economics, and University of Rome “RomaTre”- Faculty of Law and Economics.

He joined the Aspen Institute as Aspen Junior Fellow in 2011. He is also Fellow of the Institute for Research on Public Administration (IRPA) since 2007.

He has written articles on antitrust, regulation of markets, and comparative and global administrative law. His publications include a book on Insurance Market Regulation (La regolazione del mercato assicurativo, Ipsoa, 2007).
