Call for contributions – Publication on Regulatory Impact Assessment in the Independent Authorities: A Compared Perspective
We are looking for contributions from scholars coming from different countries, for an edited book (in English) regarding Ex ante and Ex post Impact Assessment in the Independent Authorities: a cross-national overview. The idea behind this initiative is to broaden the scope of our previous research, that led us to the publication of a book on the Italian experience (more info available here: http://www.carocci.it/index.php?option=com_carocci&task=schedalibro&Itemid=72&isbn=9788843068432) and to take into account other national cases, included the European level, in order to offer an overview of the features and the evolutions of such instruments within the regulatory processes of independent regulators.
Therefore, contributions regarding one or more national cases (not only European countries), or focusing on the new European Supervisory Authorities , are welcome. Contributions about the United States, the UK and Australia are particularly appreciated.
If interested, please send an abstract (of no more than 500 words) to firstname.lastname@example.org by 31st May 2013, specifying in few words why you believe the national case you propose is worth being considered. Selections will be announced by 15th June, and selected contributions should be sent by January-February 2014.
Please don’t hesitate to contact us for any further information.
Thank you for your attention,
