The Global Law and Governance Summer School (GLGSS)

The Global Law and Governance Summer School (GLGSS), is operated as a research-led teaching Academy by the European Public Law Organization (EPLO), and has been developed at the initiative of Professor Ioannis Lianos (UCL) and Dr. George Dimitropoulos (HBKU Law). It is an intensive full week summer program with courses and study sessions, all of them taught in the English language from leading faculty, employing a completely interdisciplinary approach to law and policy. This is not a traditional summer school. Instead, it provides professors the opportunity to share their most recent research with a select group of students, through lectures, seminars and mini-colloquia. Students have access to a variety of seminars providing cutting-edge analysis on hot topics in global law and governance.

The School consists of four days of seminars, with a total of 24 to 32 seminar hours led by esteemed faculty.

Classes will be held at the EPLO’s beautiful facility in Legrena, near
stunning Cape Sounion.
The facility offers an unparalleled study environment with beautiful views of the Aegean Sea and plentiful leisure activities for students, including athletics courts on-site and beaches nearby.
